A rainy day is a perfect day to come to the Tea House. We still make fresh lemonade, iced tea, and coffee...and boil the water for tea...every morning regardless of the weather. The Tea House is a cozy little place with a little library of gardening books, a small desk for your writing pleasure, a place to recline while you read or rest...Cookies, Biscotti, beverages...books, fresh flower arrangements, mountain view from the window, coffee on all day long...If it's a dark day, (which is actually my favorite kind of day!) just turn on the pretty lights. Use our china for your beverage or our compostable to go cups with lids...We boast that we have NO WiFi...ha ha! Every day we open the Tea House with fresh flower arrangements, refreshments, and we sweep and dust.....for whoever might show up! We love what we do and we do it for if it's raining, it makes the Tea House all the more special! And you can still pick the flowers! Just bring your rain coat and hat! We provide the scissors, flower baskets, etc. for your picking pleasure. You'll have a wonderful time! : )

Beautiful Summer Days at the Garden and Tea House. Purple Glads are starting, Lisianthus, Asters...all starting to bloom. Gorgeous.

The Song Garden...Dedicated to my Dad, Fenno F. Heath, Jr.

The Song Garden was born from grief and sorrow…on this land that’s been in my family for generations…and was created to be an anchor for my heart…and to be a tribute to my Dad, Fenno F. Heath, Jr.,  after his passing.  He was a gifted choral composer and the Director of the Yale Glee Club.

Dan Hertzler and I own and tend this property with love and great care and with a deep respect for
the wonder, beauty, and power of nature…and its ability to soothe and bring healing.
We are glad you found
The Song Garden.
